Solitaire is one of the best games to play if you don’t have anyone else to share time with. In fact, the game’s name is French for being alone, or solitary. Now, it’s a fact that there are so many kinds of Solitaire games that you can find online, but classic Solitaire games are practically very rare.
Solitaire Summer is one of those games in which you can play the classic rules of Solitaire and without the enhancements offered by the other games.
First off, simplicity is beauty in this case. The games here are pure Solitaire. There are no power ups that you can use in order to speed up your game or increase your score. If you’re looking for a game in which you won’t have to do a lot of thinking, then the games in the website are definitely the ones for you.
For starters, you have your classic Solitaire game. You can pick between the 1 Card and 3 Card Classic Solitaire variants. All you have to do is create piles of cards from King to Ace in descending order, and in alternating colors. Hence, if you start with a 7 of Diamonds, the next card should a Six from a Club or Ace, so on and so forth. When you run out of cards, you can draw cards from the deck on the upper left corner of the screen. The only difference between these two modes is that 1 Card draws only one card from the deck, while 3 Card pulls three cards simultaneously.
Of course, there is the classic Spider Solitaire. The rules are the same as well; you simply have to arrange the cards into piles in descending order from King to Ace. If you play 1 Suit Spider Solitaire, you only have one color to think about. However, when you’re playing 2 Suit or 4 Suit Spider Solitaire, then you need to pile the cards in alternating colors or suits, and in descending order as well.
You also have the so-called Scorpion Solitaire. It is almost similar to Free Cell Solitaire, but only four of the tableaus have cards facing down beneath them, and three cells are simply waiting to be freed by using up the cards in them into piles in the left-hand tableau cards on the screen. There is also Wasp Solitaire, which is nearly similar to Scorpion Solitaire.
Solitaire Summer is, at least aesthetically, summer-themed. The board is basically seawater, the kind that you’d find on the beach. The cards rest there or float there, rather. You can even see some of them half-submerged in the water and in shadow when you cannot move them especially in Spider Solitaire.
What are you waiting for? If you’re looking for a very simple but mentally challenging way of passing the time, then heading over to its website to play Solitaire Summer should be a good idea! Summer Solitaire Samenvatting
