The game features three difficulty levels. The casual mode, medium mode and the hard mode differ in their difficulty levels but the game rules are the same. Click a card higher or lower to make a stack with the foundation card, regardless of the suite.
Each level assigns certain objectives that you will have to complete in order to finish the level. The game never lets you get bored as it features a whopping 24 stages, each having 8 unique rounds of Solitaire. You get a chance to earn three snowflakes in each stage. These snowflakes are used to unlock the next tougher levels so make sure you get all three.
In order to get the perfect three star rating, you need to complete the objectives assigned to you in each level. The higher the score, the higher the rating will be. Making a stack with 6 cards in a row can win you a hefty bonus. Moreover, stacking cards of similar suits also gives bonus points and bonus cards can win you even higher scores, making sure you get all three snowflakes in every level you play.
Santa's Christmas Solitaire features a huge variety of power-ups. First of all there are the bonus cards that you can win during the game play. For example, a joker card allows you to change the foundation card whenever you want. Similarly, you can also purchase cool Christmas ornaments and items that can give your score a boost. These include baubles that can reduce the consecutive stack bonus from 6 to 5 cards, Santa’s boots that can multiply your score up to three times, Christmas cake and much more.
